"The Ransom Video – Part II"

Hey, look at that, I had started a different story before embarking on the "choose your own adventure" tale in the Fur Lovers Discord. And it turned out, through amazing coincidence, the voters asked for a plot using the character I was already writing a story about. 

So, that's right, more Countess Foxy. 

Anyone looking for a satisfying conclusion to the "mystery" of "The Ransom Video" can skip to the last page and be greatly disappointed.

Notes: To refresh very short term memory, Countess Foxy is played by Lady Gaga. Karima is played by Sheetal Sheth, circa 2008, and in honor of, I Can't Think Straight.

Summary: Former furrier turned FBI agent Karima Hakim returns to do a one-on-one interview with enigmatic pop music sensation Countess Foxy about the theft of her furs. Karima is simultaneously on the rebound from breaking up with her girlfriend and has a major crush on the chart topper. Will this impact her professional judgement? It would be a goddamn short story if it didn't.

“Foxy Backstage Pass”

Welcome the the result of semi-interactive storytelling. This story came about with the help of the Fur Lovers Discord. Through a series of polls, the characters and storyline were chosen, then events were decided based on prompts I created. It was an interesting experience and resulted in a slightly different tale than I may have written solo, but that makes it all the more interesting. 

The chapter breaks are where the story polls occurred.

Notes: Miss LaRue is now officially played by Morgan Fairchild. Velvet is played by Jovana Mitrovic / Obsidian Kerttu. Countess Foxy, hopefully obviously, is played by Lady Gaga. Others appearing later are appearing as themselves.

So I haven’t done much of anything lately, content-generation wise. Distractions abound. One of the more recent of which was falling down the “watch people play DnD online” rabbit hole. If you’re thinking… hey, I need to watch something where the average length of an episode is four hours and there’s thousands of them, then sure, I’d recommend it.

It’s shit for getting anything done, though.

Still, with minor, not-exactly-bardic, inspiration, I dashed off something quick in the whole “fantasy” genre. To be clear, despite the name-check in the intro paragraph, this isn’t any of the various and sundry planes of DnD existence. It’s just “Generic Fantasy Setting #37207647594875243543″… you know, orcs, elves, goblins, short people of a non-infringing variety… I’m not really trying to break new ground, setting wise.

And it’s short! Like, really short. It’s mostly just a cumshot. Because I wrote it, it still manages to be 675 words.

So, without further ado, the entirely truncated adventure of Moonshade Foxsinger, elf ranger, and her escape from an orc camp…

“Formula FCR XL” -by FurCreamer

I did the thing, with the typing, and the keyboard, and the sentences, and the paragraphs.

Disclaimy stuff: Again with the philosophically questionable concept of non-consensual sex with a fur coat. Upside (maybe?) there is a girl inside this time, so maybe I’ve successfully reduced the “questionable” aspect.

Boring stuff: Half the story? Yeah, lot of exposition in this one. Sorry. You can scroll down to the last set of little asterisk thingies (* * *), which probably have a name but I’m too lazy to look it up. After that it is basically sexy-time to the end. Otherwise, enjoy the character descriptions and the vaguely plausible reasons provided for acting like morons.

Summary: A twisted-but-brilliant research scientist’s cure for impotence is a failure in humans until a coincidence reveals the catalyst that makes it work beyond her wildest dreams. (Spoiler alert: It’s a fur coat) (Spoiler Alert: D’uh).

“The Ransom Video” Revised & Updated - by FurCreamer

Notes: So, in one of those weird moments of realization, I remembered something I wrote years ago and suddenly wanted to review it. Funny thing, turned out it wasn’t in what I thought was my most complete “official” archive on ye olde hard drive. This alone pissed me off, because now I’m suspicious of what else I’ve lost over the years.

To the rescue: Archive.org’s Wayback Machine

I’m both proud and embarrassed the awesome power of the Wayback Machine is even partially devoted to preserving the existence of my old WordPress blog. Worked like a charm, though. Typo ridden “final” published draft recovered.

Now, reviewed and updated, this small brain fart of a tale makes slightly more sense (internally) and is easier to read without (okay… fewer) gross miscarriages of grammar.

I figure since it’s probably been completely forgotten, it’s almost as good a “new” story.

What Changed: I changed the name of the FBI agent because it wasn’t the least bit interesting at all. I added a couple extra ounces to her backstory, and the circumstances of the theft, principally who was stolen from. The latter may provide fodder for future stories, should I ever write any (Hah!).

Disclaimy stuff: It’s one of my more fetishy tales, in so far as it’s basically “male on fur coat.” The interaction is, and I'm loathed to even mention this, non-consensual. I don’t consider that applicable to inanimate objects, but, it’s about perception, not reality, and reality is, some idiots could perceive it that way.

Not to say that the subject of the tale isn’t illegal. In fact, the very framing device of the story should drive that home. But we’re talking theft and… destruction of property.
